The Lhasa Apso has a long, heavy, double coat. They are a small dog that come in various colors. Their long hair is straight and dense. It has small, dark, deep-set eyes and heavy feathered ears.
Size, The adult male is 10-11 inches tall and 6-8 KG. The adult female is slightly smaller then the male.
Coat, The coat of the Lhasa Apso is heavy and straight. It is also hard and very dense.
and the Colors, the standard colors of this dog breed are black, black & tan, cream, golden, grizzle, red, red gold, and white. all colors equally accepted.
his Temperament is an intelligent dog that is a good watch dog. They are affectionate towards their owner and make a good pet, but are unsure of strangers.
Taking Care of the dog, This breed should be groomed frequently if coat is left long. Some owners cut the coat short for easier grooming. Brush the long coat daily to prevent it from matting. Clean eyes and ears frequently.
 

Exercise, The Lhasa Apso needs daily exercise. They should be taken on a daily walk. Playtime in a large yard while off leash is good for them as well.
About Training, This breed does well to consistent, positive training. Reward the Lhasa Apso with successful training.

About the dogs Barking the Lhasa Apso has a rather large bark for a small sized dog. They can be a good watch dog for the size of their bark. Barking in general is loud and persistent.

Life span expectancy is for a well cared for Lhasa Apso can live 15 or more years.
